Messier 13

This is Messier 13. It is one of the 88 Globular Clusters that has been discovered in the universe.
Messier 13 consists of about 500-800 thousand stars.
Its age is estimated between 13 and 15 million years old since its creation.

Even though its brightest is comparable to 500.000 suns, it is barely visibl...e with the naked eye on a very clear night, owing to the fact that it is 25,100 light-years away from Earth. Nevertheless, it is readily viewable in small telescopes, and in just one look, Its grandeur can leave you breathless...
